After nearly 3-months on this workout, it was time for me to add progressive overload. I have started sprinting the third minute on each ascending interval. That means, for instance, at 0 grade, I walk for 2-minutes at 4.0 MPH, then 1-minute at 9.0 MPH before taking the speed back down and raising the incline by 1.0. Obviously, as the grade gets steeper, the speed of my sprint get slower. Hill sprints are wicked hard! I kept the descending drills exactly the same as before (2-minutes on each decline, no running).

Thank you for this posting! It's right on point. I'm praying that God will help me eat in moderation. However, to do this I need His help! I'm standing on His word that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! Again, thank you for this article and God bless!

Brook! I am cleaning out my email box and came upon an email you replied to a while back when I asked you about something related to making my own workout video. I had reached out to you and was so thankful you were kind enough to respond. You DID THE RIGHT THING then and I have a feeling you do usually. I just happened to poke my head in and this was the first blog I found. So funny that this was already the impression I had of you. You're awesome. And I completely agree with you about the food stamps. I used to bag groceries in high school and was always annoyed by the chips and pop passing through. Good luck to you! I hope someday I can help you out in some way. What goes around comes around.... you should be expecting some pretty great things in your world! ; ) Keep it up!
